Quick-Step with under floor heating

Yes! Is the answer to the frequently asked question about whether laminate can be combined with under floor heating.

Quick-Step laminate
All Quick-Step laminate floors can be used in laid on low temperature under floor heating. This is the case for under floor heating systems with heating components (hot water or electric) embedded in the floor.

Heating films or other "new" systems are not always suitable. A combination of laminate flooring with systems that provide heating in the winter and cooling in the summer can be problematic for technical and physical reasons. However, this combination is possible if special precautions are taken. It is advised that you should always read the instructions in the manual carefully before installation of your floor.

You also need to take into account a number of other requirements. The laminate floor must be laid using the floating method. It's also very important that a damp-proof membrane is put in place between the sub-floor and the laminate floor, or that a "Combi" underfloor is laid that has a built-in damp-proof membrane.

Quick-Step real engineered wood
Quick-Step Uniclic Multifit parquet can be applied on 'low-temperature' under floor heating systems. This is the case for under floor heating systems with heating components - hot water or electric – that have been embedded in the floor. Quick-Step Uniclic Multifit parquet beech and ash floors however are not suitable to be laid on under floor heating.
